Il “Grosso Volterrano” è l’unica moneta in circolazione durante la festa. Prodotti artigianali, pietanze, vino e ogni altra cosa potranno essere acquistati con questa moneta, disponibile presso “L’Offizio Cambio”.

Le monete non utilizzate potranno essere convertite in euro presso l’Ufficio Turistico entro il 10/09/2010.

Un grosso, moneta di rame, euro 1,00

Cinque grossi, moneta d’oro, euro 5,00

Il Grosso Volterrano

The currency circulating during the Middle Ages was the denaro grosso, simply called “Grosso”.

The Grosso will be the only currency in circulation on Sunday 16th and 23rd during “the Day of the 1398 festival”.

Crafts, food and wine may only be purchased with this currency which will be available at “The old Exchange office”.

Excess money may be converted back into Euro at the Tourist Information until the 10/09/2010.
